About Supermoney
Supermoney is a technology-led MSME credit and supply-chain finance platform working with banks, NBFCs, corporate anchors and growing businesses across India. We combine credit expertise, proprietary technology and transaction-level data to improve access to working-capital finance for MSMEs and extend enterprise solutions to large and midsize corporates.
Our products span all versions of supply-chain finance (dealer and distributor finance,
revolving facilities) and term business loans.
About the role
We are looking for a hands-on Credit Manager who can independently evaluate MSME borrowers, structure appropriate facilities and make explicit, commercially balanced credit recommendations.
The role requires more than ratio analysis. The successful candidate must be able to understand the underlying business, reconcile financial and transactional data, identify emerging risks and determine whether—and under what structure—a proposal represents an acceptable risk-reward opportunity.
The Credit Manager will personally handle important and complex cases, present recommendations to credit stakeholders and guide junior analysts. The role is expected to operate to high bank and NBFC credit standards, with strong emphasis on policy discipline,
documentation and RBI-aligned lending practices.
Key responsibilities
Independently underwrite new and renewal proposals across supply-chain finance and term MSME products.
Analyse and reconcile financial, GST, banking and bureau information to under business performance, identify unusual transactions, related-party exposure, fund rotation, diversion risk and inconsistencies.
Assess business viability, working-capital cycle,
leverage, liquidity, debt-servicing ability, receivable quality and the underlying repayment source.
Structure the appropriate limit, tenor, pricing, security, covenants, disbursement controls and monitoring conditions.
Prepare concise and defensible Credit Appraisal Memoranda and present recommendations to credit committees, senior management and lending partners.
Monitor portfolio performance and early-warning indicators, including overdue trends, bureau deterioration, cheque returns, GST decline, banking stress, covenant breaches and concentration risks.
Work closely with business, operations, legal, collections, finance and technology teams while maintaining an independent credit view.
Contribute to AI led underwriting frameworks, credit policies, monitoring tools and operating processes.
Candidate profile
Chartered Accountant qualification is strongly preferred.
Minimum 5–6 years of relevant credit experience with a bank, NBFC, fintech lender or supply-chain finance institution.
Demonstrated experience in underwriting MSME working-capital, business-loan or supply-chain finance exposures.
Strong financial-statement analysis, GST analysis, banking analysis and credit-bureau interpretation skills and ability to write focused credit notes.
Working knowledge of RBI lending requirements, KYC/AML, asset classification,
early-stress identification and fair-practices principles.
High ownership and desire to grow the role beyond defined boundaries
High integrity and the ability to maintain sound credit judgement under commercial pressure.
What we value
Sound judgement—not mechanical application of ratios.
The ability to identify the few risks that genuinely determine the credit outcome.
Balanced risk-reward thinking and practical facility structuring.
Clear, concise and decisive communication.
Ownership from initial assessment through sanction and portfolio monitoring.
Curiosity, professional scepticism and comfort challenging unsupported explanations.
Why join us?
This is an opportunity to play a central role in building a modern MSME credit institution—not merely process cases within an established system.
You will work on diverse and often complex businesses across sectors, evaluate both borrower and transaction-level risk, and gain exposure to multiple banks, NBFCs, corporate anchors and credit products. You will have direct access to senior leadership and meaningful influence over credit decisions, product structures, portfolio strategy and risk policy.
As the platform scales, you will also help build the underwriting frameworks, monitoring systems and credit team that support its next phase of growth. For a strong credit professional, the role offers unusual breadth, genuine decision-making responsibility and a clear path toward senior credit leadership.
