Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end product costing from Raw Material to Finished Product.
- Prepare and analyse Raw Material, Conversion, Process and Finished Product Costing.
- Develop and maintain standard and actual cost sheets.
- Analyse material consumption, yield, process loss, conversion cost and manufacturing overheads.
- Conduct cost variance analysis between standard/budgeted and actual costs.
- Monitor cost drivers across different stages of the manufacturing process.
- Analyse RM consumption, power & fuel, consumables, labour, stores and other manufacturing costs.
- Calculate and analyse cost per MT / product-wise profitability.
- Support management in cost reduction and cost optimization initiatives.
- Prepare periodic Costing MIS and management reports.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Finance, Commercial and Operations teams for accurate costing data.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cost control activities.




- Ensure proper classification and allocation of manufacturing overheads and expenses.
- Provide analytical inputs for pricing and commercial decision-making.

Mandatory Candidate Profile 7–10 years of relevant experience in Costing / Cost Accounting

CMA / Cost & Management Accountant – Mandatory

Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end manufacturing costing

Exposure to costing from Raw Material Process Finished Product

Steel / Stainless Steel / Ferro Alloys / Alloy Steel / Minerals Manufacturing experience preferred

Strong understanding of yield, material consumption, process loss and conversion cost

Experience in product costing, variance analysis and cost control

SAP / ERP exposure preferred

Robust Excel, analytical and MIS skills

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a hands-on Cost Accountant who has worked in a manufacturing environment and understands the complete cost structure of a product—from raw material procurement and consumption through processing, conversion and finally finished-product costing.

Candidates from Steel, Stainless Steel, Ferro Alloys, Alloy Steel, Minerals or similar process manufacturing industries will be strongly preferred.
