Job DescriptionPosition: Content Creator

You'll manage Deftsoft's and in-house social media content end to end across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube. This isn't just a scheduling or posting role. You'll be responsible for creating content ideas, writing scripts, appearing on camera, producing short-form content, and identifying what makes people stop scrolling.

If you're comfortable being on camera, enjoy experimenting with new content ideas, and understand how to turn ideas into engaging social media content, this role gives you the platform to create, test and grow.

What You'll Do

- Plan, create and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Develop creative content ideas aligned with brand goals and target audiences.
- Write scripts for promotional, educational, informational and meme-format content.
- Feature on camera in reels, short-form videos and other video content.
- Build and maintain a monthly content calendar.
- Create content designed to increase engagement, followers, reach and inbound leads.
- Research and identify relevant social media trends, audio, formats and content styles.
- Experiment with new content formats and ideas to improve performance.
- Track content performance and use analytics to understand what is working.
- Adapt content strategies based on platform insights and audience response.




- Work closely with design and marketing teams on campaigns and promotional activities.
- Ensure content is consistent with the company's brand voice and communication style.

What We're Looking For
- 0–6 months of hands-on content creation/social media experience in an agency or in-house environment.
- Comfortable and confident on camera — this is a core part of the role.
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Ability to write engaging Hinglish content for a Gen Z audience.
- Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, including what makes content perform.
- Working knowledge of basic editing and design tools such as CapCut, InShot, Canva or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of social media analytics and platform insights.
- Robust creative thinking and the ability to generate content ideas independently.
- Someone who brings ideas and experiments rather than waiting for a brief.
- Willingness to stay updated with changing social media trends, formats and audience behaviour.
