Construction Manager Wind PMC The Construction Manager Wind PMC will lead Project Management Consultant (PMC) monitoring and governance activities for utility-scale wind energy construction projects. The role is responsible for coordinating site construction surveillance, managing workfront sequencing, monitoring contractor progress, and ensuring effective integration of civil, mechanical, electrical, quality, HSE, and commissioning activities across wind farm developments. The position supports safe, compliant, and efficient project execution while driving readiness for WTG erection, electrical completion, commissioning, and project handover.

Key Responsibilities

Construction Monitoring & Site Coordination

- Plan and deploy PMC field-monitoring coverage based on active WTG work fronts, contractor schedules, and project priorities.
- Monitor construction activities across roads, crane pads, ground improvement works, foundations, WTG erection, electrical infrastructure, and USS interfaces.
- Ensure construction progress aligns with approved schedules, sequencing plans, and milestone requirements.

Workfront Management & Interface Coordination

- Coordinate interface closure between civil, mechanical, electrical, quality, HSE, survey,



and commissioning teams.
- Monitor WTG workfront readiness and identify constraints affecting construction, erection, and commissioning activities.
- Support integrated planning and execution across multiple contractors, OEMs, and project stakeholders.

Logistics, Resource & Schedule Oversight

- Monitor site access readiness, material logistics, crane movement interfaces, resource availability, and equipment deployment.
- Review productivity trends, construction progress, and workfront utilization to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate recovery actions and mitigation measures to address schedule impacts and construction bottlenecks.

Risk Management & Performance Reporting

- Maintain construction constraint registers, workfront release status trackers, and performance monitoring reports.
- Identify project risks, interface challenges, resource limitations, and recovery requirements requiring escalation.
- Provide accurate site progress updates, construction readiness assessments, and recommendations to project leadership.

Qualifications

Education

- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.

Experience

- 10-15 years of experience in wind energy, renewable energy, infrastructure, EPC, industrial, or large-scale construction projects.
- Proven experience in wind farm construction involving roads,



foundations, crane pad development, WTG erection, BoP electrical works, and substation interfaces.
- Solid experience managing site construction coordination, contractor interfaces, logistics planning, and workfront management.
- Experience supporting multi-contractor construction environments and commissioning readiness activities preferred.

Certifications

- PMP Certification preferred.
- Construction Management Certification preferred.
- HSE Leadership Training preferred.
- Lifting Operations and Workfront Control Training desirable.
- Construction Readiness and Commissioning Coordination Training preferred.
