About the Role
We are hiring a Cloud Engineer – Azure & GCP
- Locations: Bangalore, Gurgaon, Pune
- Work Model: Hybrid
- Experience: 4 to 8 years
- Notice Period: Immediate - 15 days
We have two roles
1. Cloud Engineer (Primary: Azure | Secondary: GCP) :: 02 positions
2. Cloud Engineer (Primary: GCP | Secondary: Azure) :: 01 position
Shift Timings: 2.30 PM - 10.00 PM

Role Title: Global Operations Engineer (Site Reliability Engineer)
Function: Technology Platforms / Cloud Platforms – Cloud Operations
Role Summary The Site Reliability Engineer is primarily focused on Operational support by embedding DevOps / Reliability Engineering processes in the Client’s Azure and GCP infrastructure. The ideal candidate is well-rounded in Azure and GCP IaaS and PaaS offerings and will form part of the team that owns the Client Azure Operational stack for One Platform. You will work with other teams and vendors to enhance and improve our Operations environment.
You must have a strong background in automation with PowerShell. Agile experience is preferred.
What You Bring
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of recent experience building and supporting IaaS and PaaS solutions in an Azure cloud environment; GCP is also desirable.
- Strong Azure IaaS and PaaS knowledge (should possess at least AZ-104 or AZ-204 certification or equivalent knowledge).
- Robust troubleshooting experience.
- Awareness of Change Management governance.
- Solid understanding of Windows and Linux (Redhat/Debian) OS.
- Strong scripting capability in PowerShell and/or Python.
- Good Azure DevOps knowledge (+3 yrs): CI/CD Pipelines, Git, Repositories, Boards, YAML.
- Solid grasp of Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, PowerShell Desired State - DSC).
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Boards, and Repositories.
- Good understanding of Site Reliability Engineering Principals: e.g., Monitoring, Observability, Release Automation, Eliminate Toil.
- Hands-on experience drawing detailed technical diagrams and authoring technical documentation.
- A pro-active nature and an overall high level of creativity, plus a problem-solving mentality.
- Ability to analyze situations rigorously, logically, and systematically.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure business-critical operational environment.
- Ability to work with people from many different cultural backgrounds.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Agile way of working.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience in the related discipline.
- Microsoft Azure AZ-104 certification minimum.
- High degree of credibility and acumen in respect of security and data integrity.
- Excellent communication skills in English, verbally and in writing to all levels of the organization.
