About the Role

We're building a team of clinical eligibility reviewers to assess oncology trial patient records against protocol inclusion/exclusion criteria. This is a data-and-judgment role, not a field-based coordination position — there is no patient contact, no site visits, and no regulatory submission work involved.

You will review structured clinical data (EMR records, lab results, medication histories, pathology reports) and determine whether a patient meets the eligibility bar for a given oncology trial, documenting your reasoning clearly enough to support audit and downstream model training.

This role sits closer to a clinical data reviewer or medical monitor than a traditional Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC). If you've worked in clinical monitoring, data review, or as a CRA and are looking for something less field-heavy but still clinically rigorous, this is built for that profile.

What You'll Do

- Review EMR records, lab panels, medication/treatment histories, and pathology reports for individual patients
- Apply oncology trial inclusion/exclusion criteria — staging, biomarker status, prior lines of therapy, organ function thresholds, comorbidities,



washout periods, and more
- Produce a clear eligibility verdict (eligible / not eligible / insufficient data) with documented, criterion-by-criterion rationale
- Flag ambiguous or borderline cases for escalation rather than guessing
- Maintain consistent, auditable documentation of your reasoning — not just your conclusion

Education : MBBS or equivalent — strongest signal for clinical data interpretation

BSc Nursing or BPharm with clinical research experience

MSc in Clinical Research, Life Sciences, or Pharmacology

MPH with a clinical trials focus

Experience:

- Minimum 2 years in clinical research.
- CRO experience in clinical monitoring, data review, or as a CRA is strongly preferred
- Oncology-specific trial experience (solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, or lung/breast/GI cancer) is ideal
- Prior experience screening patients against protocol eligibility criteria, even in a support capacity
- Experience reviewing medical records or structured patient data in any form

Strong plus, not mandatory:

- CCRP, CCRA, or equivalent certification (ACRP India chapter, SOCRA)
- ICH-GCP certification (expected baseline for anyone in this role)
- Familiarity with oncology staging and biomarker frameworks — TNM staging, ECOG performance status, biomarker-gated protocols, line-of-therapy tracking

Core Skills Non-negotiable:

- Protocol comprehension — able to read a dense eligibility criterion and apply it precisely, without over- or under-interpreting
- Fluency in medical and oncology terminology: staging, treatment lines, lab value thresholds, drug classes, response criteria
- High attention to detail — a false positive costs site time and erodes clinical trust
- Robust English reading fluency, as all protocol documents and patient data are in English
- Comfort working from structured data interfaces — lab values, medication lists, diagnosis codes, pathology reports
