Bengaluru
We're looking for a hands-on Field Engineer to be the backbone of every Articulus workshop, demo and deployment. You'll set up and operate our systems on-site, troubleshoot in real time, and make sure surgeons and hospital staff get a flawless experience with our products, whether that's a simulator at a medical college or a full deployment at a partner hospital.
What You'll Work On
- Set up, calibrate and operate Articulus systems (Nebula, Galaxi, Pulsar) on-site for workshops, CMEs and hospital demos.
- Travel extensively across India, often at short notice and for multi-day stretches, to support demos and deployments.
- Conduct live product demonstrations for surgeons and hospital staff, explaining features and handling technical questions.
- Own end-to-end event logistics — packing/transporting equipment, venue coordination and setup/breakdown.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on-site, escalating to engineering when needed.
- Support installation, commissioning and basic user training at customer sites as part of the deployment team.
- Maintain equipment logs (condition, calibration, consumables) and flag maintenance needs proactively.
- Coordinate travel and on-ground arrangements with the Clinical Strategy & Commercialisation team.
- Capture feedback from each demo/workshop for the team's reporting and improvement loop.
Preferred Background
- Degree in Biomedical, Electronics, Mechanical or related engineering discipline; 0–1 years' experience.
- Comfortable working hands-on with hardware, cabling and basic electro-mechanical/software troubleshooting.
- High flexibility to travel extensively across India, often at short notice, with occasional weekend work.
- Strong communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to a non-engineering, clinical audience.
- High ownership, calm under pressure, and organised with logistics and timelines.
- Basic proficiency with MS Office/Google Workspace.
Valuable to Have
- Exposure to medical devices, robotics or simulation systems.
- Experience supporting events, trade shows or field service during internships.
- Valid driving license and willingness to drive equipment vehicles locally.
What You'll Gain
- A front-row seat to landmark moments in Indian surgical robotics — first resident trials on Nebula, first live Galaxi case at a new hospital.
- Direct work with the Clinical Strategy & Commercialisation team and deep exposure to real hospital environments.
- A foundation in medical device deployment, early in your career.
