Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Civil Structural Engineer based in Chennai.

The Civil Structural

Engineer will be responsible for performing civil and structural design, analysis, and calculations for energy sector projects, including facilities, foundations, and support structures. Day-to-day activities include preparing design deliverables, such as drawings, reports, and specifications; reviewing and validating vendor and contractor documents; and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements. The role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams,



supporting FEED and detailed engineering phases, and providing technical input during HAZID, HAZOP, and other review workshops.

The Civil Structural

Engineer will also assist in planning and monitoring project activities, contributing to quality, safety, and timely delivery of engineering outputs.

Qualifications

- Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design skills, with a solid understanding of design principles, codes, and standards for industrial and energy projects.
- Structural Engineering and Structural Analysis skills, including experience with structural modeling, load calculations, and the use of relevant analysis software.
- Project Management skills, covering planning, scheduling, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and documentation control.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemicals, or related heavy industrial sectors is preferred.
- Strong technical reporting and communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with international design codes (e.g., IS, Eurocode, ACI, AISC) and industry best practices.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, collaborate effectively in a team environment, and adapt to evolving project requirements.
