- Supervise daily road construction activities including earthwork, excavation, embankment, subgrade, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC and other pavement works.
- Ensure construction work is carried out as per approved drawings, method statements, specifications and project requirements.
- Monitor manpower, machinery and material deployment at site.
- Check line, level, alignment, slope, camber and thickness of road layers.
- Coordinate with surveyors, engineers, subcontractors and equipment operators.
- Monitor activities such as soil compaction, grading, spreading, rolling and pavement laying.
- Ensure proper utilization and positioning of construction equipment such as excavators, graders, rollers, pavers, dumpers and water tankers.
- Conduct routine site inspections and identify construction issues or deviations.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC team for field tests, inspections and quality requirements.




- Maintain daily records of work progress, manpower, materials and equipment.
- Assist in measurement and preparation of quantity records for completed work.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and secure working conditions at the site.
- Enforce project HSE requirements and immediately report unsafe conditions or incidents.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and resolve day-to-day site execution issues.
- Monitor work progress against the planned schedule and report delays to the Site Engineer/Project Manager.
- Ensure materials are used according to approved specifications and prevent unnecessary wastage.
- Support the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
