SkillPlace Academy is looking for an experienced and passionate Civil Engineering Trainer to provide practical, industry-oriented training to diploma and engineering students.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver theoretical and practical training in Civil Engineering.
- Teach Civil Engineering fundamentals and industry-relevant concepts.
- Train students in AutoCAD, quantity estimation and related civil engineering software.
- Conduct practical demonstrations, assignments and project-based learning.
- Prepare training materials, assessments and practical exercises.
- Monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop students' technical, communication and professional skills.
- Support students with placement preparation and technical interviews.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 1–5 years of relevant teaching, training or industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of Civil Engineering concepts and practices.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and relevant civil engineering software.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Practical/industry experience will be an advantage.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
Preferred Skills
AutoCAD, Revit, Quantity Estimation, BOQ, Building Planning, Structural Basics, Surveying, RCC, Construction Management, Civil 3D and other industry-relevant tools.
