Chief Manager - Financial Reporting - 5 Years - Mumbai Are you a Qualified Chartered Accountant with 5 years of experience in Financial Reporting within the insurance industry? We are looking for a finance professional with strong expertise in Ind AS, IFRS, IGAAP, IRDAI reporting, and financial statement preparation. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on Financial Reporting and Accounting experience, rather than FP&A; or financial planning.

Role Purpose

- Manage Ind AS / IFRS / IGAAP financial preparation and reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial and regulatory reporting for the insurance business.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and review financial statements as per IRDAI, Ind AS/IGAAP, and IFRS requirements.
- Manage IRDAI regulatory reporting, including BAP Returns and Public Disclosures.
- Prepare Proforma Ind AS Financials and Group Financial Reporting under IFRS.
- Coordinate with statutory/internal auditors, perform ledger scrutiny, and ensure timely audit closure.

Requirements

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Financial Reporting / Finance & Accounts, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Strong hands-on experience in Financial Reporting, Financial Statements, Ind AS, IFRS, and IGAAP.
- Strong understanding of IRDAI regulatory reporting, including BAP Reporting and Public Disclosures.
- Experience in handling statutory and internal audits and coordinating with auditors.
- Strong knowledge of ledger scrutiny, accounting, financial closure, and reporting.




- Exposure to Group MIS and Group Financial Reporting.
- Experience with ERP systems / ERP implementation is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
