We are looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant / Finance Controller with a strong Taxation background to join our Finance team in the Real Estate sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee the complete Finance, Accounts, Taxation and Audit functions of the organization.
- Handle direct and indirect taxation, including GST, TDS, Income Tax and other applicable statutory compliances.
- Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns, Income Tax returns and other statutory returns.
- Handle GST reconciliation, input tax credit, assessments, notices, refunds and departmental correspondence.
- Manage tax planning and tax optimization in compliance with applicable laws.
- Handle Income Tax assessments, GST audits, tax audits and statutory audits and coordinate with external consultants.
- Monitor tax implications of property sales, purchases, construction expenses, land transactions, contractor payments and other real estate transactions.
- Oversee project-wise accounting, costing, budgeting and profitability analysis.
- Prepare and review MIS, cash-flow statements, financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor receivables, payables, working capital, project collections and fund utilization.
- Ensure compliance with applicable RERA, Companies Act, GST,



Income Tax and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop and strengthen internal financial controls, accounting systems and SOPs.
- Review agreements and major financial transactions from an accounting and taxation perspective.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, legal advisors and government authorities.
- Advise Management on financial planning, taxation, cash flow, cost control and business decisions.
- Lead and supervise the Finance & Accounts team.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Management.

Candidate Profile
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with robust experience in Taxation and Finance.
- 8–15 years of relevant post-qualification experience, preferably in the Real Estate/Construction industry.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS, tax assessments, audits and statutory compliances.
- Experience in project accounting and real estate taxation will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, financial planning and decision-making skills.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, ERP/accounting software and MIS reporting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to independently manage the Finance & Taxation function.
