Job Summary

1. The Centre Manager is responsible for leading all operations at the skill development centre, ensuring mobilization, enrolment, training quality, certification, and job placements, compliance and placement tracking are achieved in line with organizational and donor expectation understanding.
2. This role demands strong execution skills, team leadership, community engagement, and operational oversight to achieve centre-level KPIs.
3. The role must align with territory and organizational strategies to achieve outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Candidate Mobilization & Enrolment

- Execute mobilization strategies provided by the Territory Manager to attract the right candidates for training and job opportunities.
- Conduct local community outreach, government liaison, and stakeholder engagement to promote the centre and its programs.
- Screen and counsel candidates to ensure alignment between training offered and their career goals.
- Maintain complete and accurate enrolment records and ensure documentation compliance.

Training Delivery & Monitoring

- Oversee day-to-day training delivery, ensuring programmatic activities ( celebrating special days , PTM meeting) adherence to curriculum, schedules, and quality standards.
- Monitor candidate attendance, assessments, and completion of projects.
- Coordinate with trainers to address performance gaps and ensure training is industry-relevant.
- Ensure all training-related compliance and reporting requirements are met.





Certification Management

- Support certification processes in coordination with the Territory Manager and relevant bodies.
- Ensure certificate distribution in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Track candidate readiness for assessments and facilitate timely certification.
- Engage with HUL factory HR and develop rapport.

Placement & Career Support

- Build and maintain relationships with local employers to secure OJT and job opportunities.
- Organize and facilitate placement drives, interviews, and employer engagement sessions at the centre.
- Provide resume-building, interview preparation, and career counselling support.
- Maintain alumni engagement.
- Track post-placement performance

Centre Operations Management

- Lead and supervise centre staff including trainers, mobilizers, placement officers and support staff and ensure the KRA achievements.
- Ensure infrastructure, assets, and systems are maintained and functional.
- Manage centre-level budgets and resource utilization as per operational guidelines.
- Serve as the key liaison between the Centre and the Territory Manager, BU Head providing regular performance updates.
- Ensure the centre is ready for internal and donor audit ensuring timely closures of audit findings.

Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate or Post Graduate in any stream (preferred in Business, Social Work,



or related field).
- Minimum 3 years experience managing a branch, training centre, or equivalent operation in relevant industry. (CSR implementation companies)
- Proven track record in team handling, counselling, and stakeholder management.
- Experience in community mobilization, training delivery oversight, and placement facilitation preferred.

Stakeholders Internal: Territory Manager, Mobilisation Team, Training Team, Placement Team, HR, Finance, Admin.

External: Local community leaders, government agencies, certification bodies, local employers.
