Role & responsibilities

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.

2. Translate regulatory requirements into functional and technical specifications.

3. Prepare BRDs, FRDs, HLD, user stories, process flows, and data mappings.

4. Conduct gap analysis between current systems and regulatory requirements.

5. Hands-on exposure and working knowledge of the following regulatory frameworks:

1. Perform data lineage, data sourcing, and reconciliation across systems.

2. Work with large datasets and perform impact analysis for regulatory changes.

3. Work with IT teams to design scalable reporting solutions.

4. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support sprint planning.

5. Define acceptance criteria using Given-When-Then (Gherkin) format.

6. Support SIT/UAT execution, defect tracking, and resolution.

7. Validate regulatory reports before submission.

8. Act as a liaison between business and technology teams.

9. Communicate complex regulatory concepts in a clear and structured manner.

10. Provide regular project updates and documentation.

11. Strong understanding of:



Capital calculations (RWA, Leverage Ratio), Liquidity metrics (LCR, NSFR), Regulatory reporting requirements

12. Knowledge of financial products: Derivatives, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange (FX), Equities, Securities, Loans etc

13. Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.

Preferred candidate profile

19.Technical Skills:

- SQL for data analysis and validation
- Experience with regulatory reporting tools/platforms (e.g., Axiom, Moody's, Wolters Kluwer)
- Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes
- Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools

20.Business Analysis Skills:

- Requirement elicitation
- Process modelling (BPMN, flowcharts)
- Data mapping and lineage documentation

21.Soft Skills:

- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in regulatory submissions
- Ability to work under tight regulatory deadlines
