- Create, update, and maintain 3D CAD models and assemblies for fuel system components using CATIA V5 / 3DEXPERIENCE

/n

- Develop 2D drawings with correct GD&T;, tolerances, and automotive drawing standards

/n

- Work on fuel tanks, fuel lines, pumps, rails, filters, valves, brackets, and mountings

/n

- Support powertrain and vehicle‑level packaging and interface integration activities

/n

- Perform interference checks, clearance analysis, and mass properties validation

/n

- Implement engineering changes (ECR/ECO) across design stages from KO to SOP

/n

- Ensure CAD data compliance with OEM CAD standards, best practices, and naming conventions

/n





- Collaborate closely with module leads, system engineers, and manufacturing teams

/n

- Support DFMEA, design reviews, and prototype / vehicle build activities

/n

- Interface with suppliers for CAD data exchange, quality checks, and updates

/n

- Release CAD data via PLM systems in line with project milestones

/n /n /n Knowledge / Experience – 2 to 4 Years /n Essential: /n /n

- Automotive domain knowledge with working experience of fuel system commodities.

/n

- Support/Lead Design reviews and design changes respecting feasibility and timeline

/n

- Timely CAD completion for S/T/P releases

/n

- Understanding of commodity release & change management

/n

- Understanding of Proto & Production BOM

/n

- Excellent CATIA V5 and CATIA V6 2D/3D skills.

/n

- Exposure to PLM tools such as TeamCenter.

/n

- GD&T; knowledge is a must.

/n

- Proficiency in using MS tools such as SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

/n /n /n Qualification: /n Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering or related discipline.
