Your role

Do you have excellent management skills and able to think creatively about how we can protect our services during a severe operational disruption?

We’re looking for a Senior SME to:

- understand the resilience of the relevant services for that division and the associated front-to-back operating model
- partner with SMEs within the business division and supporting areas to embed resilience-by-design
- Facilitate development of appropriate response plans for resilience
- facilitate regular testing of response plans
- identify, assess and track remediation of resilience risks
- ensure UBS functions manage resilience in line with the framework and policies
- provide training and collateral to develop skills and raise awareness

Your team

You will be working in the Business Continuity & Resilience team in Pune. You will be working in the Group CISO - Risk Management & Group Resilience team in the UBS office in EON2 Kharadi.

We are responsible for the overall risk control, management, and execution process under which UBS ensures that the appropriate levels of resiliency and readiness are established and maintained for a wide range of expected and unexpected operational and financial risk events.

Together with our business partners we create strategies to minimize operational risks and develop individual solutions for the recovery of time-critical processes. In collaboration with international BCM working groups, we implement regulatory requirements,



assess outsourcing risks and improve our internal processes. Diversity helps us grow, together.

Your expertise

• you’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.

• excellent knowledge of business services (front-to-back) and the regulatory expectations regarding resilience for Financial Services organisations

- university degree in finance, economics, business administration or mathematical discipline
- fluency in English and German (preferred for Swiss based teams)

- at least 8 years of experience in the financial services industry in one of the following disciplines:

Business continuity management / operational resilience

Risk management

And are

- able to explain the link between resilience regulations and risks to our resilience and risk management frameworks
- capable of justifying recommendations and communicating to a senior audience including regulators

- able to analyse data to drive insights and produce Board-level reports
- comfortable facilitating workshops and managing healthy conflicts
- tech-savvy and eager to harness new techniques and improve processes





- experienced in change management and project management
