We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with 6+ years of experience to join a high-performing technology delivery team. You will own the end-to-end business analysis lifecycle — eliciting, documenting, and managing requirements across complex technology programmes in a financial services environment. You will act as the critical bridge between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams — translating business needs into clear, actionable user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria that enable engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions with confidence.

What We're Looking For

- Business analysis experience with a strong track record of delivering complex technology programmes in financial services.
- Strong requirements elicitation and documentation skills — user stories, BRDs, process maps, data mapping, and acceptance criteria for technology delivery teams.
- Solid understanding of financial services domain — banking products, sales and distribution processes, customer journeys, or equivalent.
- Proven stakeholder management experience — engaging business, operations, risk, and technology teams with confidence and credibility.
- Strong Agile delivery experience — contributing as an embedded BA in sprint teams using Jira and Confluence.
- Experience supporting UAT — test script development, defect management, and business sign-off coordination.
- Good understanding of API integration concepts — sufficient to define integration requirements and data contracts for technology teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — translating complex, ambiguous business needs into explicit, deliverable functional requirements.




- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — producing clear, concise, and audit-quality BA documentation and stakeholder presentations.

Nice to Have

- Exposure to Java microservices or API-driven technology delivery — understanding technical architecture sufficient to engage credibly with engineering teams.
- Familiarity with sales and distribution platforms — CRM, product origination, or customer onboarding systems.
- Experience with data analysis tools — SQL, Power BI, or Tableau — for evidence-based requirements and data validation support.
- Knowledge of financial services regulatory requirements — APRA, ASIC, or equivalent — and their implications for technology delivery.
- CBAP / CCBA Business Analysis certification.
- Agile certification — CSPO or CSM.
- Experience with process modelling tools — Visio, Lucidchart, or Miro.

Key Responsibilities Requirements & Analysis

- Lead requirements elicitation and analysis — engaging business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to define clear, unambiguous functional and non-functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into well-structured user stories, BRDs, functional specifications, process maps, and acceptance criteria for technology delivery teams.
- Conduct business process analysis — mapping current-state (AS-IS) processes and defining future-state (TO-BE) workflows aligned to business objectives and technology capabilities.
- Perform gap analysis and impact assessments — identifying functional gaps, process inefficiencies, and delivery risks across programme workstreams.




- Maintain requirements traceability — managing RTMs to ensure all business requirements are addressed through design, development, testing, and sign-off.
- Define and document data requirements — field mapping, transformation rules, and data validation criteria for technology solutions and integrations.
- Contribute to API integration analysis — defining integration requirements, data contracts, and connectivity needs across enterprise systems.

Stakeholder Engagement

- Engage and manage stakeholders across business, operations, risk, compliance, and technology — building trusted relationships and managing competing priorities effectively.
- Facilitate requirements workshops, process design sessions, and sprint ceremonies — engaging stakeholders at all levels with clarity and structure.
- Communicate requirements and delivery progress clearly — producing audience-appropriate documentation and presentations for operational teams and senior leadership.
- Support change management activities — ensuring business readiness and stakeholder alignment ahead of solution deployment.

Delivery & Testing Support

- Collaborate with Java developers, architects, QA engineers, and DevOps teams — providing functional guidance, clarifying requirements, and supporting technical design decisions throughout delivery.
- Contribute to Agile delivery ceremonies — sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives — as an embedded BA in the engineering delivery team.
- Support UAT planning and execution — engaging business users, developing test scripts, managing defect triage, and coordinating business sign-off on delivered solutions.
- Validate delivered solutions against documented acceptance criteria — ensuring business requirements are fully met before production deployment.
- Manage defects and issues — logging, prioritising, and tracking resolution in Jira, providing clear business impact assessment throughout
