Role Overview

As the Business Crew –

- Beauty &
- Personal Care, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the Beauty &
- Personal Care department, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while driving sales, team performance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Business &
- Sales

- Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for the Beauty &
- Personal Care department.
- Improve conversion, average bill value (ABV), units per bill (UPT), and repeat customer engagement.
- Deliver personalized product recommendations based on customer needs, preferences, and concerns.
- Identify opportunities to maximize category performance through upselling and cross-selling.
- Drive customer engagement through product discovery, trials, sampling, and demonstrations.
- Monitor individual and team performance against sales targets and take corrective actions where required.

Customer Experience
- Deliver a premium, consultative, and personalized beauty shopping experience.
- Understand customer needs and recommend relevant beauty and personal care products.
- Build long-term customer relationships through trust, product knowledge, and personalized recommendations.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Support beauty events, product launches, sampling activities, demonstrations, and in-store brand activations.
- Ensure customers are educated about product usage, perks, and key features without making inappropriate medical or clinical claims.

Operations &
- Inventory

- Ensure shelves are fully stocked, visually appealing, and compliant with Broadway merchandising standards.
- Monitor stock availability, replenishment,



expiry management, and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of beauty and personal care products.
- Monitor near-expiry and slow-moving products and coordinate with relevant teams for appropriate action.
- Coordinate with Inventory and Operations teams to minimize stock loss, damages, and shrinkage.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across the department, including testers and product display areas.
- Ensure testers and sampling products are maintained as per hygiene and safety standards.

Brand &
- Merchandising

- Execute visual merchandising guidelines for the Beauty &
- Personal Care category.
- Ensure product displays are attractive, organized, and easy for customers to navigate.
- Support new product launches, promotional campaigns, seasonal displays, and brand activations.
- Partner with brand representatives to improve product visibility, customer engagement, and product knowledge.
- Ensure all brand communication, promotional material, and product displays are executed as per guidelines.
- Encourage the team to stay updated on new launches, product benefits, ingredients, and key selling points.

Reporting &
- Compliance

- Track departmental KPIs and share performance updates with the Department Manager.
- Monitor sales, conversion, ABV, UPT, stock availability, and other relevant category metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, billing processes, and audit requirements.
- Maintain accurate records related to inventory, damages, testers, customer feedback, and other department-level activities.




- Ensure products are displayed and sold in accordance with applicable company and category guidelines.

Skills &

Preferred Experience

- 1–3 years of experience in retail, preferably in Beauty &
- Personal Care, Cosmetics, Skincare, Haircare, Fragrance, Personal Care, FMCG, or Modern Trade.
- Prior experience leading or supervising a retail team is preferred.
- Experience working with beauty, personal care, or lifestyle brands will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of beauty products, customer consultation, product demonstrations, and consultative selling is preferred.

Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Certification or educational background in Beauty, Cosmetology, Makeup, Skincare, or related fields will be an added advantage.
