BIM Architect

Location: Madurai, Tamil Nadu

Role

We are looking for a BIM Architect with strong experience in Revit, architectural modelling and multidisciplinary BIM coordination to support UK-based projects. The candidate should be technically strong, well-organised and comfortable working with UK project teams and design standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain architectural Revit models from concept through technical design stages.
- Prepare plans, sections, elevations, schedules, details and drawing sheets to UK documentation standards.
- Coordinate architectural models with Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and specialist consultant models.
- Manage Revit views, sheets, families, worksets, links, coordinates and model standards.
- Support clash detection, model reviews, issue tracking and coordination using Navisworks / ACC.
- Review UK architect markups and update models and drawings accurately.
- Support project deliverables across RIBA stages, including concept, planning, developed design, tender and technical design.
- Maintain drawing registers, revisions, QA checklists and model issue records.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Strong hands-on experience in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.




- Good knowledge of architectural BIM modelling and technical drawing production.
- Experience with Navisworks Manage for model coordination and clash review.
- Understanding of ISO 19650, BIM workflows, naming conventions, LOD/LOI and model standards.
- Ability to create and manage Revit families, schedules, templates, views, sheets and linked models.
- Knowledge of UK Building Regulations, RIBA stages and UK architectural drawing standards.
- Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360 is an advantage.

Preferred Experience

- Previous UK project experience is a strong advantage.
- Gulf project experience is preferred.
- Experience in residential, commercial, healthcare, education or industrial projects is beneficial.
- Experience with Dynamo, Scan-to-BIM, ReCap, Solibri, Enscape or Twinmotion is an added advantage.
- A Revit-based portfolio of architectural models and drawings is preferred.
