We're scaling Spike and looking for a B2B SaaS Content Writer to shape our voice in the incident management space, across every format we use to reach people.

You'll have an opportunity to make a direct impact by owning content, from blog posts to email sequences to ebooks, and helping us build a content engine from the ground up.

Here's what we are looking for:

- You have experience writing for B2B SaaS.
- You are good at dissecting SERPs. When given a topic, you analyze the AI overview, search snippets, "People Also Ask," and top-ranking articles to find strategic content gaps.
- You know how to partner with AI. You should craft effective prompts to generate a strong first draft.
- Though you can use AI, you need to have an intuitive sense of what's positive, reader-friendly content.
- You can write different content formats: BOFU blog posts, email sequences, ebooks, etc.




- You are curious and aren't afraid to ask questions to get the context you need.
- You are proactive in discussing blockers and delays to keep projects moving forward.

You'll be responsible for:

- Creating and refreshing BOFU content and guides for a technical, B2B SaaS audience
- Writing and maintaining email sequences (nurture, onboarding, product announcements, newsletters)
- Producing ebooks and other gated long-form assets
- Collaborating with product and engineering teams to translate technical features into user-friendly content across formats
- Building and maintaining our content calendar and editorial processes across blog, email, and long-form assets
- Optimizing existing content for SEO and user engagement
