Automation & Integration Design Engineer

Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and hands-on Automation & Integration Design Engineer with experience in IT Automation, Industrial Automation, Control Systems, or System Integration. The candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings, supporting system integration, visiting project sites, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring successful implementation of technical solutions.

The ideal candidate should have positive knowledge of AutoCAD, technical drawings, automation/integration systems, and should be willing to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities:

- Design & Drafting:
- Create accurate 2D technical drawings, layouts, schematics and system drawings using AutoCAD or other relevant design software.
- Prepare detailed drawings based on project requirements, specifications and site conditions.
- Modify and update drawings based on design changes and site requirements.
- Ensure drawings are accurate and comply with applicable standards and project requirements.
- Coordinate with engineers and project teams to understand design requirements.

Automation & System Integration:

- Work on IT Automation, Industrial Automation, Control Systems and System Integration projects.
- Understand and assist with integration of different technical systems and equipment.
- Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI, control systems, networking or automation systems will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with Extron, Crestron or similar control/integration systems will be preferred.
- Coordinate with technical teams for system implementation and troubleshooting.

Site Visits & Project Coordination:





- Conduct regular site visits to understand project requirements and site conditions.
- Take measurements and collect technical information required for drawings and system design.
- Coordinate with site engineers, installation teams, clients and other project stakeholders.
- Provide technical support during installation, testing and commissioning.
- Candidate should be hands-on and comfortable working at project sites.

Project Management:

- Manage multiple drawings and project requirements simultaneously.
- Complete drawings and technical deliverables within project deadlines.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of drawings and project revisions.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in industrial automation or IT automation.
- Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI, control systems or networking.
- Experience with system integration projects.
- Knowledge of Extron, Crestron, or similar control systems.
- Experience in preparing electrical/control/system integration drawings.
- Experience with project site visits, installation, or commissioning.
- A valid passport and willingness to travel internationally will be an advantage.
