Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated Automation Engineer with a robust foundation in Python scripting, CI/CD practices, and data governance principles. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability through continuous learning and possess hands-on experience in creating automated solutions to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting to improve operational workflows.
- Create, configure, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Develop and integrate solutions using REST APIs to enable seamless automation and system integration.
- Implement and maintain data governance practices, including access control mechanisms and data cataloging processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement scalable solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot automated jobs and pipelines to ensure reliability and performance.
- Document automation processes, procedures, and best practices.

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Python programming and Shell scripting (Bash/PowerShell).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins (job creation,



pipeline configuration, automation).
- Working knowledge of REST API design, implementation, and integration.
- Experience creating automated jobs and workflows.

Data Governance :

- Understanding of access control principles and implementation.
- Knowledge of data cataloging concepts and practices.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and compliance requirements.

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Experience Level:

- 4 - 5 years of relevant experience in automation, DevOps, or software development roles.
