We are looking to hire a smart, self-driven, motivated person for the post of Autocad Draughtsman, in Mumbai, who can prepare accurate and detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD. He should coordinate with project and engineering teams, and ensure drawings are prepared as per approved designs, specifications, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for engineering and project requirements.
- Develop GA drawings, layouts, sections, elevations, fabrication drawings and as- built drawings.
- Preparing Electrical Single Line Drawings ( SLD's)
- Preparing Bill of Quantities for facilitating purchase functions.
- Prepare drawings based on engineering sketches, site measurements, specifications and design inputs.
- Revise drawings based on comments from engineers, project managers and clients.
- Maintain proper drawing numbering, revision control and document records.
- Coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical, Civil and Project teams for drawing requirements.
- Incorporate site changes and prepare accurate as-built drawings.
- Verify dimensions, levels, clearances and other technical details before releasing drawings.
- Support preparation of drawings for construction, installation and maintenance activities.
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards and applicable engineering practices.
- Maintain an organised database of drawings and project documentation.




- Visit project sites when required for measurements, verification and preparation of as-built drawings.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is essential.
- Additionally, ability to Design using Sketchup Software is preferred.
- Knowledge of engineering drawing standards and drafting practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Good understanding of dimensions, scales, sections, elevations and layouts.
- Knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD 3D / other CAD software will be an advantage.
- Positive coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet drawing submission deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualification ITI / Diploma in Drafting, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Preferred Experience

3-5 year’s experience on Autocad Software. Experience in Solar PV projects, electrical installations, industrial projects, infrastructure or construction projects will be preferred.
