Capabilities, Experience & Qualification Requirements

Experience

- 10+ years procurement/category management experience
- 8+ years Market Data sourcing experience

Essential capabilities

- Global Market Data category management and ownership
- Complex negotiations with market data providers, Subscriptions & publications
- Market data licensing, audit and compliance management
- Stakeholder management across Markets, Treasury, Risk and Technology
- Demonstrated multi-million dollar spend management and savings delivery

Other capabilities

- Financial Markets or Capital Markets qualifications
- Market Data industry certifications, training or professional memberships
- Demonstrated understanding of global exchange licensing requirements and financial information services

Qualification Requirements

- Postgraduate qualification in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or Procurement.
- Professional procurement accreditation such as: CIPS, ISM, MCIPS, CPSM
- Relevant certifications in: Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Category Management





Key Accountabilities

- Manage and monitor all activities relating to supplier contracts across the business divisions responsible for, from execution of contract to disengagement
- Apply and trigger contractual clauses, when necessary, throughout the contract lifecycle
- Work with the Service Managers across division to ensure service performance and quality meet expectations
- Where there is consistent poor performance or breach, work between Suppliers, Business and Strategic Sourcing to recommend remediations and treatment plans
- Monitor and manage contract spend
- Implement continuous improvement
- Work with the supplier to identify contract optimisation initiatives
- Work in a cross-functional manner across sourcing and supplier management teams
