The Associate QA Engineer will support testing activities across web applications. The role includes manual testing, automation using Selenium with Java, API testing, SQL validation, and defect reporting. Ideal for candidates early in their QA career with hands-on exposure to testing tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand requirements and create test scenarios and cases.

- Perform manual testing (functional, regression, integration, E2E, cross-browser).

- Develop and execute automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.

- Work with frameworks like TestNG, Cucumber, POM, and Maven.

- Conduct API testing using Postman or similar tools.

- Validate backend data using SQL queries.

- Log and track defects using tools like Jira or Redmine.

- Collaborate with developers and participate in Agile activities.

- Maintain QA documentation and ensure test coverage.





Required Skills & Qualifications

- Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and testing fundamentals.

- Experience in manual testing of web applications.

- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java.

- Understanding of automation frameworks (TestNG, Cucumber, POM).

- Experience in API testing and SQL validation.

- Familiarity with defect tracking tools.

- Basic knowledge of OWASP ZAP or security testing.

Preferred Skills (Valuable to Have)

- Agile/Scrum experience.

- Basic knowledge of Git and CI/CD.

- Understanding of REST APIs and JSON.

- Exposure to performance or mobile testing.

- ISTQB certification.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 per year
