Job Summary
As a Cybersecurity advisor within the Offshore Service Technology organization in India, you will serve as the primary interface for customer-related cybersecurity topics. You will combine cybersecurity knowledge with strong customer management skills to understand customer requirements, coordinate appropriate solutions, and ensure that cybersecurity activities support contractual, operational, and compliance expectations.
In this role, you will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders across Operations, the Siemens Energy Cybersecurity organization, Offshore Execution, TE-PPS, sales, product, and security teams. You will provide guidance on cybersecurity questions, maintain transparency regarding security status and service performance, and support the timely resolution of customer concerns.
How You ll Make an Impact
- Act as a trusted cybersecurity advisor, helping customers address their security requirements through tailored solutions, compliance guidance, and industry best practices while building strong stakeholder relationships
- Ensure cybersecurity services are delivered in line with SLAs and customer commitments by coordinating with cross-functional teams, addressing security concerns, and driving timely resolution of customer actions.
- You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of cybersecurity service offerings by collecting customer feedback, identifying recurring needs, and working with sales, product, service, and security teams to enhance the overall customer experience.
- To maintain clear governance and transparency, you will prepare and provide regular reports and updates on customer security status, service performance, open risks, agreed actions, and topics requiring escalation or management attention.
What You Bring
- Customer-focused cybersecurity professional with expertise in OT and industrial environments, skilled at simplifying complex security concepts and collaborating effectively with global, cross-functional stakeholders
- Knowledge of general cybersecurity frameworks and standards relevant to industrial environments, such as NERC CIP and IEC 62443.
- You also have a practical understanding of industrial control systems, including servers, PLCs, SCADA systems, and related operational technology components.
- Experience in cybersecurity for wind turbines, wind power plants, electrical equipment, or a comparable industrial workplace is preferred.
- Previous involvement in validation or certification activities is considered an advantage.
- The position requires proactivity, teamwork, customer orientation, and the ability to take ownership of topics through to resolution.
- Occasional business travel is expected.
Education Experience
- 2 - 3 years of total industry experience
- You hold a bachelors or masters degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, engineering, or a comparable discipline.
- This qualification should be combined with relevant professional experience in cybersecurity, industrial control systems, wind power, electrical equipment, or a related technical environment.
