## Our NEP 2020 Mandate: Shaping Reflective Practitioners, Not Rote Instructors

Core Philosophy: In strict compliance with NEP 2020 and the National Professional Standards for Teachers (NPST), Saket College of Education is eliminating traditional, lecture-heavy, rote-learning methods. We are building a multi-disciplinary ecosystem. We are exclusively seeking reflective, tech-savvy, and research-oriented teacher educators capable of mentoring student-teachers in experiential learning, competency-based assessments, and inclusive education.

## Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the qualification parameters laid down by the NCTE, University of Mumbai, and UGC.

Assistant Professor (Core Entry Level)

Academic Qualifications:

- Master’s Degree (M.A. / M.Sc. / M.Com.) in relevant school subjects (Social Sciences / Sciences / Mathematics / Languages / Humanities) with a minimum of 55% marks AND a Master of Education (M.Ed.) with a minimum of 55% marks from an NCTE-approved institution.
- Mandatory Regulatory Credentials: Must have cleared UGC-NET or MH-SET in Education.
- Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.): Highly preferred for University approval layout. (Ph.D. holders are exempted from NET/SET only if the degree complies strictly with UGC 2009/2016 regulations).

## NEP 2020 Core Institutional Responsibilities

- Transformative Pedagogical Delivery: Deliver courses integrating Experiential Learning, Inquiry-Based Learning,



and Cross-Disciplinary Arts/Sports integration rather than standard textbook monologues.
- Foundational & Inclusive Literacy Mentorship: Train student-teachers in specialized frameworks of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN), and gender-sensitive/neurodiverse inclusive classroom strategies.
- Competence-Based Assessment Design: Move student-teachers away from "learning for exams" by implementing formative, portfolio-based, and 360-degree holistic report-card assessment mechanics.
- Tech & AI Native Classrooms: Demonstrate active competency in blended learning, flipped classrooms, and utilizing AI-assisted pedagogical tools for instructional design.
- Continuous Professional Development (CPD): Commit to and participate in a minimum of 50 hours of structured CPD annually (via DIKSHA, SWAYAM, or Institutional FDPs) as mandated by NEP 2020.
