Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Plant Manager to join our aluminium die casting manufacturing operation, producing ceiling fan body components for leading brands including Renesa, Atomberg, and Aura.

This is a high-responsibility role for a hands-on manufacturing professional who can work closely with the Plant Manager across production, quality, customer coordination, manpower management, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with customers regarding production schedules, requirements, and changes.
- Plan and monitor production to ensure on-time delivery and dispatch.
- Manage daily production targets, manpower allocation, and shop-floor activities.
- Handle first-level response and coordination during machine breakdowns and production issues.
- Drive 8D, TFS, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions for quality issues.
- Monitor rejection, productivity, downtime, and other key production parameters.
- Lead and develop supervisors, operators, and production teams.
- Conduct training and upskilling programs for shop-floor employees.
- Handle first-line employee grievances, discipline, and attendance.
- Track OEE and identify opportunities for productivity and cost improvement.




- Conduct 4M reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Stores, and other departments to achieve plant targets.
- Support the Plant Manager in overall plant operations and take increasing ownership of plant-level responsibilities.

Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
- Experience in aluminium die casting, metal components, auto ancillary, or similar manufacturing will be preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience in production planning and shop-floor management.
- Knowledge of 8D, TFS, root-cause analysis, and quality improvement tools.
- Proven experience in handling supervisors, line leaders, operators, or shift teams.
- Positive communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Willing to work full-time at the plant.
