Role Description The PLCS Assistant Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ballia, responsible for supporting and driving sales of PLCS (Personal Loans Cross Sell or related consumer lending solutions, as applicable to the business line). The role involves managing daily sales activities, including prospecting, qualifying leads, explaining product offerings, and converting opportunities through effective customer engagement.

This position supports branch and regional sales targets by maintaining strong relationships with channel partners, monitoring performance, and implementing local sales strategies. The PLCS Assistant Sales Manager coordinates with operations and credit teams to ensure smooth processing, accurate documentation, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.



The role also includes tracking sales metrics, preparing reports, and providing feedback to improve processes, customer experience, and overall portfolio quality.

Qualifications

- Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, opportunity conversion, and achievement of targets.
- Customer relationship management capabilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and building long-term trust.
- Ability to analyze financial products and customer needs, with sound understanding of retail lending or consumer finance.
- Proficiency in basic data analysis, reporting, and use of MS Office or similar tools for tracking performance and preparing presentations.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
- Prior experience in financial services, NBFCs, banking, or consumer credit sales is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
- Comfort working in an on-site setting in Ballia, with readiness to travel locally for client and partner meetings as needed.
