Role Description The Architect at Skyne Homes will contribute to the design and delivery of residential and high-rise projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, safety standards, and local regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing architectural concepts, producing detailed drawings and documentation, coordinating with structural engineers and contractors, and reviewing designs for feasibility, quality, and cost-efficiency. The role involves participating in site visits, monitoring construction progress, and resolving design-related issues to maintain project timelines and budgets.

The Architect will also collaborate with the project management team to streamline communication, integrate design changes, and support efficient execution. This is a full-time,



hybrid role based in Mysore, with a combination of in office work and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, space planning, and preparation of detailed drawings.
- Candidates should possess skills in Project Management, such as coordinating stakeholders, tracking timelines, and managing design-related project risks.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Integration between design and construction workflows, ensuring architectural plans are effectively translated into execution.
- Candidates should possess basic understanding of Software Development or relevant design and project tools (e.g., CAD/BIM software, project management platforms) to support digital workflows.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction standards, preferably in Mysore or similar urban contexts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly with clients and contractors, and adapt to a hybrid work environment.
- Professional licensure or eligibility for licensure is an advantage.
