Role Description

The AI-Native Filmmaker at Pine Labs is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role involves conceptualizing, shooting, editing, and producing short films and video content, blending traditional filmmaking craft with AI tools across the entire creative workflow, from ideation and scriptwriting to storyboarding, production, and post-production.

The AI-Native Filmmaker collaborates closely with marketing, product, and design teams to translate complex fintech and commerce concepts into engaging visual narratives across channels, including social media, campaigns, and internal communications.

Daily work includes hands-on shooting and editing, experimenting with AI-powered video, image, and audio generation tools, refining content based on feedback and performance metrics, and maintaining a consistent brand voice and visual style.



The role also involves managing production timelines, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and staying current with emerging AI and filmmaking technologies.

Qualifications

- Robust filmmaking fundamentals, including visual storytelling, cinematography, editing, and sound design.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools for film production, such as AI-assisted scriptwriting, generative video and image platforms, and AI-driven post-production workflows.
- Proficiency with standard video production and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Ability to translate complex technology and fintech concepts into clear, engaging narratives suitable for diverse audiences.
- Comfort working on-site in a collaborative environment, partnering with cross-functional teams in marketing, product, and design.
- Strong organizational skills, including project management, time management, and attention to detail across multiple concurrent projects.
- Portfolio demonstrating narrative and/or commercial film work, with examples of AI-integrated creative workflows strongly preferred.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, communication, design, or a related field is beneficial; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
- Curiosity for emerging AI and creative technologies, with a willingness to experiment and continuously improve craft.
