Role Overview

We are looking for a Healthcare AI Engineer with 2+ years of experience to build and integrate production-ready AI solutions for healthcare applications. The role focuses on Agentic AI,Multimodal AI, Generative AI, healthcare AI, backend development, APIs, databases, and system integrations.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

- Design, develop, and integrate Agentic AI and Multimodal AI solutions for healthcare applications.
- Build AI agents with LLMs, tool/function calling, reasoning, memory, workflow orchestration, and automation.
- Develop AI solutions for voice, speech-to-text, transcription, text generation, summarisation, and clinical note generation.
- Robust hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI, and REST API development.
- Work with OpenAPI/Swagger, API requests/responses, authentication, validation, error handling, and API testing.
- Integrate AI models, healthcare APIs, third-party services,



and external systems into production applications.
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases, including PostgreSQL/MySQL, with the ability to develop queries and manage application data.
- Experience with database integration, API-to-database workflows, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is an advantage.
- Experience working with healthcare applications, clinical workflows, patient/medical data, or healthcare APIs.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance, including PHI/PII protection, secure data handling, access control, and healthcare data privacy.
- Hands-on experience with Git and GitHub, including branching, pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative development.
- Knowledge of Azure or any major cloud platform such as AWS or GCP for application deployment and integration.
- Develop scalable, secure, maintainable, and production-ready AI applications.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and clinical teams to translate healthcare requirements into technical solutions.
- Test, debug, optimise, and continuously improve AI and backend applications.

Experience

- 2+ years of professional experience in AI Engineering, Generative AI, ML Engineering, or Healthcare Technology.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Good to Have

- Experience with EHR/EMR integrations.
- Knowledge of FHIR/HL7.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with vector databases and advanced RAG architectures.
- Experience building clinical documentation, medical transcription, or healthcare AI solutions.
