Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AGM – Accounts to lead and manage the accounting and financial reporting function for a real estate organization. The ideal candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant with strong hands-on experience in Indian accounting, real estate project accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, audits, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the Accounts & Finance function and ensure accurate and timely closure of books.
- Manage Indian Accounting Standards, financial reporting, and statutory accounting requirements.
- Oversee accounting for real estate projects, including project costs, revenue, receivables, payables, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS.
- Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Ensure timely statutory, tax, internal, and external audit requirements.
- Review and monitor accounts payable, receivables, bank reconciliations, and general ledger.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, banks, and other external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST regulations, and applicable accounting standards.
- Support management with financial insights, variance analysis, and business decision-making.




- Establish and strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the accounts team.
- Ensure proper documentation, controls, and compliance across finance operations.

Mandatory Skills & Experience
- CA qualification is mandatory.
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.
- Real Estate / Property Developer experience is mandatory.
- Strong hands-on experience in Indian Accounting and financial reporting.
- Excellent knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Strong experience in real estate/project accounting.
- Experience in MIS, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Ind AS / applicable Indian Accounting Standards.
- Experience in handling statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Strong knowledge of Tally/ERP systems and advanced MS Excel.
- Proven experience in team management and stakeholder coordination.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Profile
- Candidates from established real estate developers/property development companies will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of RERA-related accounting and project financial requirements will be an advantage.
- Candidates with stable career history and robust tenure in previous organizations preferred.
- Mumbai/MMR-based candidates preferred.
