About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack SDET / Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation solutions for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Java-based automation frameworks, API and microservices testing, cloud-native applications, and healthcare payer systems. Experience with PEGA applications and healthcare domain workflows is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, API, microservices, and event-driven applications.
- Develop automated test solutions for Java/Spring Boot based applications and cloud-native architectures.
- Validate RESTful APIs, microservices, messaging systems, and enterprise integrations.
- Build and execute functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and performance test suites.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, BAs, and DevOps teams to deliver quality software.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and release planning activities.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across development, QA, and production environments.
- Implement automation within CI/CD pipelines and support shift-left quality practices.
- Validate Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, and other event-driven integrations.
- Support testing of PEGA-based workflows, case management, business rules, and integrations.
- Contribute to performance engineering, reliability testing, and observability initiatives.
- Stay current with emerging technologies in automation, AI-assisted testing,



cloud computing, and Java ecosystems.

Core Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Java (8/11/17+) and Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
- Solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, and REST APIs.
- Robust expertise in API Automation using Rest Assured, Karate, Postman, or similar tools.
- Experience developing automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
- Experience with Cucumber/BDD Frameworks.
- Proficiency in SQL and database validation.
- Experience in testing distributed systems and service-oriented architectures.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ.
- Performance DevOps
- Experience with JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, or equivalent performance testing tools.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins
- Hands-on experience with Git
- Hands-on experience with Maven/Gradle
- Hands-on experience with SonarQube
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
- PEGA Testing Experience
- Experience testing PEGA workflows, case types, business rules, and integrations.
- Understanding of PEGA application architecture and deployment lifecycle.
- Experience validating PEGA APIs and downstream system integrations.
- Cloud Modern Engineering
- Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
