Phoenix International School is seeking an empathetic, proactive, and qualified School Counselor to support the social, emotional, and academic development of our students. The ideal candidate will foster a safe, inclusive environment, helping students navigate personal challenges, behavioral needs, academic pressure, and career guidance.

Key Responsibilities

- Student Counseling: Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address emotional, behavioral, or academic difficulties.
- Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support and guidance during emotional distress or behavioral crises.
- Academic & Career Guidance: Assist older students with career options, goal setting, and personal development planning.
- Collaboration: Partner with teachers, administrators, and parents to identify early warning signs and create personalized intervention plans.
- Workshops & Programs: Organize interactive workshops on life skills, mental health awareness, anti-bullying,



and stress management for students and staff.
- Record Keeping: Maintain confidential, organized records of student sessions and progress in compliance with ethical standards.

Key Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Master’s degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or Guidance & Counseling.
- Experience: 2 years of experience as a counselor in an educational setting preferred (freshers with strong clinical/guidance backgrounds may apply).
- Skills: Excellent communication, active listening, solid empathy, conflict resolution, and observation skills.
- Languages: Proficiency in English and Hindi.
