About the Job

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting work of our business.

The ideal candidate should have a Commerce background, hands-on experience in Tally Prime and MS Excel, and a good understanding of routine business accounting.

We are looking for someone who can gradually take independent responsibility for the company's accounts, rather than someone who only knows basic data entry.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting in Tally Prime.
- Record and maintain purchase and sales transactions.
- Prepare and manage sales invoices, purchase entries and related documentation.
- Maintain customer/debtor and supplier/creditor accounts.
- Regularly follow up and maintain records of outstanding receivables and payables.
- Handle bank entries and bank reconciliation.
- Maintain proper accounting records and ledgers.
- Assist in credit control and outstanding payment tracking.
- Maintain stock-related accounting records and gradually take responsibility for stock reconciliation and maintenance.
- Maintain proper records for statutory compliance.
- Have a basic understanding of GST and TDS, including their basic process and accounting treatment.
- Coordinate with the CA/tax consultant wherever required for statutory compliance and related information.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for GST, TDS and other accounting requirements.
- Prepare reports and accounting data using MS Excel.
- Use Excel functions such as VLOOKUP,



XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Check accounting entries and identify discrepancies in accounts, invoices and ledgers.
- Handle other routine accounting and office-related work as required.

What We Are Looking For
- B.Com / Commerce background is mandatory.
- Minimum 1–2 years of practical accounting experience in a business firm.
- Tally Prime is mandatory.
- MS Excel is mandatory.
- Valuable working knowledge of VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Basic understanding of GST and TDS and their regular compliance process.
- Experience with sales and purchase accounting.
- Understanding of bank reconciliation, debtor/creditor management and outstanding payments.
- Candidate should be capable of gradually handling accounts independently.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in accounting entries.
- Should be comfortable working with invoices, bills, ledgers, bank statements and business documents.

Growth in the Role The expectation is that the candidate should gradually become capable of independently handling the company's day-to-day accounts, including: Purchases + Sales + Banks + Stock + Debtors + Creditors + Statutory Compliance A candidate who learns the business properly, takes responsibility and performs consistently can grow significantly with the company.

Salary: Up to ₹18,000 per month, depending on experience, knowledge and suitability for the role.

Location: Near Nalapani Chowk, Sahastradhara Road, Dehradun

Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Weekly Off: Sunday

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
