We are currently seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to manage our financial operations and ensure accuracy in our project-based accounting.

Role Overview

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial management of the company. You will handle everything from accounts payable/receivable and payroll to tax compliance and project costing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction accounting and a solid understanding of statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions, including site expenses, vendor payments, and client billings.
- Project Costing: Track project-wise costs against budgets and provide insights on profitability.
- Tax Compliance: Manage GST filings, TDS deductions, and other statutory compliances relevant to the construction industry.
- Payroll Processing:



Handle employee payroll, advantages administration, and ensure timely salary disbursements.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliations to ensure financial integrity.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field. A Master’s degree (M.Com/MBA Finance) or CA/ICWA intermediate is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, ideally within the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Tally Prime/ERP, MS Excel (advanced formulas), and accounting software.
- Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and Kerala state tax regulations.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and strong organizational skills to manage complex financial data.
- Communication: Fluent in Malayalam and English for coordination with vendors, bankers, and internal management.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
