Job Title: Supermarket Accountant / Retail Accounts Executive for query contact (phone hidden)

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Supermarket Accountant to manage our daily financial operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily cash reconciliation, verifying vendor invoices, managing inventory accounting, and ensuring GST compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Daily Cash & Sales Reconciliation: Verifying cash counters, card transactions, and UPI/digital wallet payments
- Vendor Management: Checking, processing, and recording supplier invoices, managing accounts payable, and scheduling timely vendor payouts.
- Inventory Accounting: Collaborating with store managers to reconcile physical stock takes with ERP records, calculating shrinkage, and tracking wastage.
- Banking Operations:



Managing daily cash deposits, performing bank reconciliations, and handling petty cash expenses.
- Financial Reporting: Preparing weekly cash flow statements and monthly profit-and-loss reports for management.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of core accounting experience, preferably in a supermarket, hypermarket.
- Software Skills: proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and retail ERP software.
- Attributes: High integrity, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
