About the Role

We are looking for a strong and client-facing Accounts Manager who can independently manage accounting and compliance activities for multiple clients while also leading a team and interacting directly with clients.

This is not a routine bookkeeping role. We are looking for someone who is technically strong, confident in communication, capable of handling clients independently, and experienced in reviewing and managing the work of junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end accounting for multiple clients independently.
- Review accounting entries, ledgers, reconciliations and financial records for accuracy.
- Review and ensure timely and accurate GST filings and GST reconciliations.
- Handle TDS/TCS computation and quarterly returns.
- Lead monthly and annual book closure and finalization of accounts.
- Review BRS, vendor/customer reconciliations, AR/AP and ledgers.
- Monitor cash flow and client MIS reporting.
- Prepare and review financial reports, ageing reports and management dashboards.
- Coordinate with auditors and respond to audit and client queries.
- Interact directly with clients and understand, explain and resolve accounting and compliance-related matters.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional and timely communication.
- Lead, guide and review the work of junior accountants/executives.
- Allocate work, monitor deadlines and ensure quality of team deliverables.
- Identify accounting/compliance issues and take ownership of resolving them.
- Work on Tally, Zoho Books or other ERP systems.

What We Are Looking For Must-Have
- 35 years of relevant experience in accounting,



taxation and client management.
- Strong practical knowledge of GST, TDS, TCS, accounting and financial statement finalization.
- Experience in handling multiple clients simultaneously.
- Proven team handling / team management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid client-handling and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to confidently participate in client calls and meetings.
- Ability to independently understand client requirements and resolve queries.
- Strong review and analytical skills rather than only execution/bookkeeping experience.
- Excellent MS Excel and reporting skills.
- Working knowledge of Tally / Zoho Books / ERP.

Preferred
- CA Firm / Accounting & Advisory Firm experience.
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA or equivalent qualification.
- Experience managing accounting and compliance for multiple clients.
