The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud data engineering, specifically with Azure technologies, and will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions that meet the needs of our organization.Responsibilities- Design, implement and maintain data solutions on Microsoft Azure.- Develop and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.- Work with Azure SQL Database and Cosmos DB to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data needs and provide support.- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and services to ensure high availability and performance.- Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with data governance policies.- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for data engineering.Skills and Qualifications- 5-12 years of experience in data engineering or related field.- Proficient in Azure Data Services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database.- Robust SQL skills for data manipulation and querying.- Experience with programming languages such as Python or Scala.- Knowledge of data modeling concepts and ETL processes.- Familiarity with big data technologies like Azure Synapse Analytics or Hadoop.- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.- Understanding of data governance and security best practices.
