Senior QA Automation Engineer (Playwright) Location: Vadodara, Gujarat Work Mode: Hybrid Experience: 3 to 5 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Domain: Healthcare (Good to have) Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright (Type Script) and automation testing for modern web applications.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks for UI and API testing while working in Agile development environments.

This role requires close collaboration with Product Owners, Development, QA, and Dev Ops teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions through robust test automation practices.

Key Responsibilities Automation Framework Development Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright .

Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with Type Script .

Develop reusable automation components following automation design best practices.

Implement and maintain Page Object Model (POM) architecture and data-driven testing approaches.

Test Automation & Quality Assurance Build and enhance automation frameworks for UI, API, regression, smoke, and functional testing.

Ensure comprehensive test coverage across business-critical workflows.

Execute automated and manual test cases when required.

Validate application functionality, performance, and quality throughout the SDLC.

CI/CD & Dev Ops Integration Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Work closely with Dev and Dev Ops teams to optimize automated test execution in deployment workflows.

Monitor automation execution results and improve test reliability and stability.





Collaboration & Agile Delivery Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and Dev Ops teams to define test strategies and quality objectives.

Participate in sprint planning, story grooming, requirement reviews, retrospectives, and test planning activities.

Provide quality recommendations during design and development phases.

Defect Analysis & Reporting Debug automation failures and collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently.

Analyze test execution results and provide actionable insights.

Create and maintain automation reports, traceability matrices, test plans, and testing documentation.

Test Environment & Data Management Maintain test environments and test datasets.

Perform SQL queries and database validations to verify application behavior and data integrity.

Support test execution in different environments and deployment stages.

Continuous Improvement Drive automation best practices and quality standards across projects.

Evaluate and recommend new testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies.

Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation maturity.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills 3 to 5 years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.

Strong hands-on experience with Playwright using Type Script/Java Script .





Experience designing and maintaining robust automation frameworks.

Proficiency in web application testing and cross-browser automation.

Strong understanding of UI and API testing .

Experience with RESTful APIs and API validation techniques.

Experience implementing Page Object Model (POM) and data-driven frameworks.

Strong SQL skills and database validation experience.

Familiarity with Bitbucket , Git, and version control best practices.

Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Understanding of AWS-based environments and cloud-hosted applications.

Robust knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies.

Process & Soft Skills Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Good to Have Experience with additional automation tools and frameworks.

Knowledge of performance testing tools.

Exposure to security testing practices.

Experience with Docker and containerized environments.

Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based deployment models.

Experience working with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or Spec Flow .

ISTQB or other recognized testing certifications.

Experience in test reporting and dashboard creation.
