We are building India’s premium quick-commerce destination for fashion—where trend, curation, and unprecedented delivery speed converge for the style-conscious consumer. As a pioneer in hyper-local fashion delivery, we are reshaping how consumers shop for apparel and accessories.
We recently closed a $10M Series A funding round led by top-tier global venture capital firms, making us one of the fastest-growing and most heavily funded fashion-tech startups in India. We are expanding rapidly and looking for visionary leaders to join our journey.
The Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and trend-driven Associate Director of Buying & Merchandising to own the end-to-end buying, Open-to-Buy (OTB), and assortment planning for our Women’s Western Wear vertical (Private Label Division).
In this leadership role, you will bridge the gap between creative merchandising and financial planning—translating brand revenue targets into executable SKU plans, budgets, and vendor strategies. You will work closely with Category Managers and Production Merchandisers to drive profitability and inventory health.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Build, own, and execute the Open-to-Buy (OTB) plan by category and month to consistently hit and exceed Gross Margin targets.
Buying & Capacity Management: Manage the comprehensive buying calendar. Convert revenue targets into exact SKU/style counts and phase them strategically against production cycles and outright buys.
Inventory Lifecycle Management: Partner closely with Category Managers to drive data-backed decisions on sell-throughs, reorders, and markdowns for the Western Women’s assortment.
Data & Analytics: Build and maintain detailed planning MIS and dashboards to track inventory health, Gross Margin performance, and overall SKU productivity.
Brand Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing teams to ensure a consistent and engaging content flow for Private Label products across all social media channels.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: 8–12 years of hands-on experience in buying, merchandising, or planning within fashion retail or private labels. (Strong preference for candidates with direct experience in Women's Western Wear).
Financial Acumen: Expert-level OTB and financial planning skills. You must be highly comfortable navigating fast-turn, budget-constrained sourcing environments.
Business Ownership: Proven track record of independently owning a category/vertical P&L; or a comprehensive assortment plan at scale.
Startup DNA: High bias for action, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Why Join Us?
Be part of a well-funded, hyper-growth startup reshaping the future of fashion retail.
High autonomy and the prospect to build a Private Label category from the ground up.
Competitive compensation and the chance to work with a world-class team.
