Job Description:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance data pipelines using Scala and GCP.

- Develop data processing applications using Scala and distributed computing frameworks.

- Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing.

- Work with GCP services such as Big Query, Google Cloud Storage (GCS), Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer.

- Process and transform large volumes of structured and unstructured data.

- Implement data quality, validation, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms.

- Optimize data pipelines and applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.

- Integrate data from multiple sources into cloud-based data platforms.

- Troubleshoot data pipeline and production issues and perform root-cause analysis.

- Collaborate with data architects, developers, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions.

- Follow coding standards, version control, CI/CD, and data engineering best practices.
