Work you will do
As an Analyst in the hybrid operate business, you are responsible for adhering to the defined operating procedures and guidelines in operating the security engineering services in the Managed Services model, which includes the following:
- Administer and support Armis platform operations, asset discovery processes, and device visibility services across enterprise environments.
- Manage asset inventory, device classification, asset taxonomy, and fingerprinting activities for IT, IoT, OT, and medical devices.
- Configure and maintain asset discovery policies, classification rules, integrations, and device identification workflows.
- Monitor asset visibility, unmanaged device detection, new asset onboarding, and asset inventory accuracy across the workplace.
- Analyze discovered assets and device behaviors to identify unauthorized, unmanaged, deprecated, or vulnerable devices.
- Support maintenance and optimization of Armis appliances, platform integrations, and sensor health monitoring activities.
- Develop and maintain asset classification standards, reporting structures, and operational dashboards.
- Collaborate with Security Operations, Vulnerability Management, Infrastructure, and Network teams to improve asset visibility and risk management capabilities.
- Investigate and resolve platform-related incidents, service requests, configuration issues, and discovery-related operational challenges.
- Support onboarding of new network segments, medical devices, IoT devices, and infrastructure assets into the Armis platform.
- Execute platform upgrades, configuration changes, tuning activities, and operational maintenance tasks in accordance with change management procedures.
- Generate operational reports,
asset inventory metrics, compliance reports, and security visibility dashboards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance device visibility, asset classification accuracy, and operational effectiveness.
The team
Deloitte's Security Engineering Managed Services team helps clients operate, monitor, and continuously improve their cybersecurity technologies and security infrastructure. The team supports endpoint security, network security, cloud security, data protection, email security, security automation, and related operational services by applying defined operating procedures, service levels, industry-leading security practices, and continuous improvement principles. Working across a diverse technology ecosystem, the team is responsible for maintaining platform health, responding to incidents and requests, implementing configuration changes, driving operational excellence, and enhancing the organization's overall security posture through proactive monitoring, governance, and engineering support.
Required:
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Cyber Security Operations, Asset Management, Network Security, or Security Engineering.
- Hands-on experience administering Armis or similar Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management (CAASM) and asset discovery platforms.
- Strong understanding of asset discovery,
device fingerprinting, asset classification, and inventory management concepts.
- Experience working with enterprise networks, network protocols, and device identification technologies.
- Knowledge of IT, IoT, OT, medical device, and unmanaged asset security considerations.
- Experience analyzing asset inventory data and identifying security, compliance, and operational risks.
- Understanding of vulnerability management, security monitoring, and asset governance processes.
- Experience supporting incident management, service request management, problem management, and change management activities.
- Ability to troubleshoot asset discovery, platform integration, and device classification issues.
- Strong analytical, reporting, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's in computer science or other technical fields.
- Experience supporting Armis in large enterprise or healthcare environments.
- Familiarity with medical device security, IoT security, and operational technology environments.
- Experience integrating asset discovery platforms with SIEM, vulnerability management, CMDB, or ITSM solutions.
- Knowledge of network monitoring tools, packet analysis, and device profiling technologies.
- Understanding of NIST, CIS, healthcare security requirements, and asset governance best practices.
- Familiarity with Service Now and CMDB management processes.
- Security certifications such as Security+, GSEC, CISSP, or equivalent are a plus.
- Experience working in Managed Services environments with SLA-driven operations, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
