Role Description As a Junior Interior Designer at Loftsify, you will support the design team in developing residential interiors that reflect each client's unique lifestyle and preferences. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bengaluru and involves assisting with space planning, preparing mood boards, and selecting materials, finishes, and furnishings. You will help translate concepts into detailed drawings, support the creation of construction documentation, and collaborate with senior designers, vendors, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained. Daily responsibilities include participating in client meetings, updating project presentations, coordinating samples, and maintaining project files.



You will also contribute to site visits, measurements, and quality checks, helping to ensure projects are delivered on time and in line with Loftsify's human-centric philosophy.

Qualifications

- Ability to work with core interior design principles, including Interior Design and Space Planning skills focused on residential projects.
- Foundational knowledge of Architecture and the built environment to understand project constraints and opportunities.
- Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Construction Drawings and related technical documentation.
- Experience or training in FF&E; (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, including materials, finishes, and product specification.
- Comfort with design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar software, plus basic proficiency in MS Office and presentation tools.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with clients, team members, and external partners.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; internship or 0–2 years of qualified experience in residential design is preferred.
