Job Role: Physics Teacher (Middle School)

Kunskapsskolan International School is seeking a passionate, creative, and experienced Physics Teacher to teach students in the Middle School (Grades 6–8), delivering engaging lessons aligned with the CBSE and International curriculum . The ideal candidate will inspire scientific inquiry, develop conceptual understanding, and create meaningful learning experiences through experimentation, technology integration, and real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

/n

/n

- Plan and deliver engaging Physics and Integrated Science lessons for middle school students.

/n

- Develop students' conceptual understanding through inquiry-based, experiential, and project-based learning.

/n

- Teach scientific concepts using demonstrations, laboratory investigations, simulations, and hands-on activities.

/n

- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.

/n

- Integrate interdisciplinary connections across Science, Mathematics, Technology, and Engineering.

/n

- Promote scientific thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and innovation.

Curriculum Planning

/n

/n

- Plan lessons in alignment with CBSE learning outcomes and international best practices.

- Design unit plans, lesson plans, assessments, and learning resources.

/n

- Integrate technology and digital tools into classroom instruction.

/n

- Ensure curriculum delivery is aligned with the school's personalized learning philosophy.

Assessment & Student Progress

- Develop formative and summative assessments.

- Monitor student learning through continuous assessment and constructive feedback.

- Maintain accurate academic records and student portfolios.

- Analyse student performance data to plan interventions and enrichment opportunities.

- Foster curiosity, confidence, resilience, and independent learning.

Qualifications

/n

/n

- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related Science discipline.

/n

- Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) is mandatory.

/n

- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in middle school.

/n

- Experience teaching CBSE , Cambridge Lower Secondary, IB MYP, or other international curricula is preferred.
