About the Role
/n
We are looking for an experienced, student-centric, and proactive Admission Counselor to manage prospective parent enquiries and guide families throughout the school admission journey.
/n
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to effectively communicate the school's vision, academic programmes, learning philosophy, and overall value proposition to prospective families.
/n
The Admission Counselor will play a key role in converting enquiries into admissions while ensuring that every prospective family receives a professional, informative, and positive experience.
/n
Key Responsibilities
/n
1. Enquiry & Lead Management
/n
/n
- Handle admission enquiries received through phone calls, emails, walk-ins, website, social media, and other digital channels .
/n
- Understand the requirements and expectations of prospective parents and provide appropriate information.
/n
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective families and ensure timely responses to all enquiries.
/n
- Manage the admission enquiry pipeline and track leads from initial enquiry through enrolment.
/n

1. Parent Counselling & School Representation
/n
/n
- Counsel prospective parents regarding the school's curriculum, academic programmes, teaching methodology, facilities, activities, and overall educational philosophy .
/n
- Clearly communicate the school's vision, mission, values, and unique value proposition.
/n
- Address parent queries and concerns professionally and provide accurate information.
/n
- Build strong relationships with prospective parents and create a positive impression of the school.
/n
/n
1. School Tours
/n
/n
- Conduct professional and engaging campus/school tours for prospective families.
/n
- Explain key facilities, learning spaces, programmes, activities, and student experiences during the tour.
/n
- Personalise the school tour based on the interests and requirements of the family.
/n
- Ensure prospective parents receive a welcoming and memorable experience.
/n

1. Admission Process Management
/n
/n
- Guide parents through the complete admission process, including:
/n
- Enquiry and registration
/n
- Application submission
/n
- Documentation
/n
- Assessments/interactions
/n
- Admission decision
/n
- Fee/payment formalities
/n
- Final enrolment
/n
- Coordinate with academic, administration, finance, and other relevant departments to ensure a smooth admission experience.
/n
- Keep parents updated about the status of their application at every stage.
/n
/n
1. Data & MIS Management
/n
/n
- Maintain accurate and updated records of enquiries, leads, follow-ups, applications, conversions, and enrolments .
/n
- Regularly update the admission CRM/MIS or other lead management systems.
/n
- Prepare admission-related reports and provide regular updates to the reporting manager.
/n
- Monitor lead conversion and follow-up effectiveness.
/n
/n
1. Parent Relationship Management
/n
/n
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and newly enrolled families.
/n
- Ensure timely and professional communication throughout the admission journey.
/n
- Handle parent concerns and coordinate with the concerned teams for resolution.
/n
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality while dealing with families.
/n
/n
1. Admission Events & Outreach
/n
/n
- Support and participate in Open Houses, admission events, school exhibitions, parent interactions, workshops, and outreach activities .
/n
- Assist in school marketing and admission campaigns when required.
/n
- Support other admission-related activities and initiatives assigned by the management from time to time.
/n
/n

- Good understanding of the school admission process and education sector .

- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM/MIS, email, and digital communication platforms .

Educational Qualification
/n
/n
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Psychology, or a related field .
/n
- A postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
/n
/n
Experience
/n
/n
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in school admissions, counselling, education sales, customer relationship management, or a similar role.
/n
- Experience in IB / IGCSE / International / Premium K-12 schools will be preferred.
/n
- Candidates with strong experience in parent counselling and admission conversion may also be considered.
/n
