Job Purpose

To provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning workplace for young learners and facilitate their holistic development through age-appropriate, play-based, experiential and child-centred learning practices. Pre Primary Education

Key Responsibilities
/n
/n
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate, engaging and activity-based learning experiences aligned with the School curriculum.
/n
- Create a positive, safe, inclusive and child-friendly classroom environment.
/n
- Use stories, rhymes, music, art, movement, games and hands-on activities to promote learning and development.
/n
- Monitor students‘ academic, social, emotional, language and physical development through regular observation.
/n
- Maintain lesson plans, attendance, student portfolios, assessment records and other academic documentation within prescribed timelines.
/n
- Apply positive classroom-management strategies and ensure that children are never left unattended.
/n
- Follow all child-safeguarding, health, safety, emergency and student-dispersal procedures.
/n
- Maintain professional and respectful communication with parents and address concerns through the prescribed channels.
/n
- Participate actively in parent-teacher meetings, assemblies, celebrations, workshops, field trips and other School activities.
/n
- Collaborate with Coordinators, teachers and support staff to ensure effective functioning of the Pre-Primary section.
/n
- Participate in professional-development programmes and implement learnings in classroom practice.
/n
- Demonstrate ownership, punctuality, discipline, professional maturity, adaptability and a positive attitude towards feedback and organisational changes.
/n
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding students, parents, School records and internal communications.
/n
- Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the School in connection with academic and institutional requirements.

Qualification & Experience
/n
Preferred Qualification: Graduate with NTT / ECCE / D. El. Ed. or equivalent qualification in Early Childhood / Pre-Primary Education.
/n
Experience: Relevant experience in Early Years / Pre-Primary teaching in a reputed school will be preferred. Freshers with the appropriate qualification and demonstrated competency may also be considered.
