Umendra Life Sciences manufactures OTC topical products — creams, gels, lotions, ointments — for regulated export markets, primarily the US. We are looking to expand our Quality Control team, and individuals with varying degrees of experience are encouraged to apply

What you'll own (scope scales with level)

/n

/n

- Testing across raw materials, packing materials, bulk and finished goods against approved specifications, with COA preparation and review.

/n

- Sampling and testing of RM/PM, TOC/water testing, and instrument calibration.

/n

- Stability testing and stability documentation kept audit-ready.

/n

- Working standards management, STPs, STS and SOP upkeep.

/n

- OOS/OOT and incident handling — documentation, investigation, closure.

/n

- AMV & CV (analytical method and cleaning validation) support.

/n

- Contemporaneous, data-integrity-compliant (ALCOA+) recording — no back-filling, no shortcuts — keeping the lab inspection-ready at all times.

/n

- Officer: sampling and routine RM/PM/FG testing, COA preparation, documentation.

/n

- Executive: independent testing across streams,



stability and validation execution, STP/STS ownership.

/n

- Senior Executive: owns RM review, stability documentation, OOS/OOT investigations, calibration and training; mentors officers and chemists.

Who fits

/n

/n

- Able to work in office at our Bavla plant (35–40 km from central Ahmedabad). This is a plant role — non-negotiable.

/n

- 1–9 years of hands-on QC experience in pharma or personal-care manufacturing — the offer level matches your depth.

/n

- B. Sc./M. Sc. (Chemistry) or B. Pharm/M. Pharm; genuinely comfortable on the bench and on the instruments.

/n

- Strong grip on GMP, data integrity and SOP-driven working. Compliance is the job, not overhead.

/n

- Senior candidates: demonstrable ownership of stability, method/cleaning validation and investigations — not just routine analysis.

/n

What this role is not

/n

/n

- Not remote, not a corporate or head-office QA desk.

/n

- Not a paperwork-only position — you'll be on instruments and in the lab daily.
