Job Summary:
/n
We are seeking a qualified and experienced German language teacher to join our institution on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching German language courses to undergraduate engineering students and potentially students from other institutions within NMIMS.
/n
Key Responsibilities:
/n
- Develop and deliver German language courses for undergraduate engineering students.
/n
- Prepare course materials and lesson plans.
/n
- Conduct classes and assess student progress.
/n
- Collaborate with the Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan, Mumbai for course design and quality assurance.
/n
- Participate in relevant information sessions for students.
/n
- Contribute to the development of the German language program within the Institution.
/n
Qualifications:
/n
- C1 level German language proficiency, certified by Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan.
/n
- Postgraduate degree in any field.
/n
- Experience in teaching German, particularly to engineering or technical students, is highly desirable.
/n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
/n
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.
/n
Required Skills:
/n
- Native or near-native proficiency in German.
/n
- Strong understanding of German culture and customs.
/n
- Familiarity with up-to-date language teaching methodologies.
/n
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to diverse student needs.
/n
- Proficiency in using technology for language instruction.
